Where are you located?
Glasscombe is located in the Cotswolds AONB just outside the charming village of Monkton Farleigh, 15 minutes from Bath.
Do you allow pets?
Some of our units are pet-friendly. Please see our pet policy for more information. We provide dog beds, a dog-washing station outside the unit, and a post to tie your dog up while you enjoy the deck. Dogs are not allowed in any unit that is not pet-friendly.
Do you allow children or babies?
Glasscombe is strictly adults-only. We are not able to accommodate children, babies or teenagers. All guests must be 18 years or older.
Do I need a car to visit Glasscombe?
A car is recommended to get around, but you can access Glasscombe via train to Bath. Then it’s a 15-minute taxi or Uber ride to Glasscombe.
Do you serve food and drinks?
We do not serve food or drinks. All units are self-catering. We have several delivery options including restaurant meals and groceries delivered by Uber Eats. We will also have pre-prepared meals to purchase prior to checking in. This information will be sent once you book.
Are units air-conditioned?
We provide portable air conditioners to some units for hot days. Other units have a Dyson air cooler.
How many units are on site?
We have 11 units in total: 5 silver domes, 3 mirror retreats and 3 skylight cabins. We also have a sauna building and a clubhouse.
How private are the units?
All units are thoughtfully sited so that you are surrounded by nature with full privacy.
Does every unit have a hot tub?
Yes, each unit has a private deck with a hot tub, fire pit and seating.
What type of hot tubs do you have?
Most hot tubs are wood-fired, with a few being electric. All hot tubs are pre-heated and ready to enjoy for your arrival. We also provide extra wood.
Is EV charging available?
EV charging is not currently available. We plan to add this in the future.
What time is check-in/checkout?
Check in is 4:00 pm, checkout is 11:00 am.
What do the kitchenettes in the unit include?
Kitchettes provide the essentials: 2 burner hob, pans, dinnerware, utensils, fridge with integrated ice box, Nespresso machine, kettle and cleaning supplies.
Where can we eat out?
There are several pubs within a 5-minute drive of Glasscombe. There is also a wide variety of excellent restaurants in Bath which is 15 minutes away.
Is there a pub close by?
The Kings Arms is walking distance from Glasscombe, but is currently closed for renovations. Other pubs are a short drive away.
What should I bring?
You should bring Wellies for inclement weather and food to prepare during your stay.
